Donations made to Wardie's Way in memory of Kjeld Jensen have totalled an amazing

 €4,036.

A wonderful result for a wonderful man!

In a separate event, Steve Stabler and the Staging Post team dedicated their latest concert to Wardie's Way, also in memory of Kjeld. On the night they raised an additional €1,294 for Wardie's Way.

The Arts Society Brussels dedicated their October lecture on the Architect Zaha Hadid to their fond memory of Kjeld, and very kindly held a collection on the night for Wardie's Way, raising €227. Many thanks to Muriel Lowe and the committee for this kind donation.

A huge thank you to Carol McHugh and her fellow organisers for the collection at their St Patrick's Day party at the Commission. €520 was donated to WW as a result.​

Sarah Evans organised an arts sale at the BSB for the Year 2 students, and they raised a fantastic €450 for WW.

Staging Post De Kam donated the proceeds from their Charity Concert on 17th Sept to "Wardie's Way", making €1.470 on the night. WOW!​

Misja & Mike Pennington held a collection for "Wardie's Way" at their recent party, and raised a fabulous €750. THANKS GUYS (and your guests!!).

My nephew Tim Hopper put on a great concert in Brighton and, in the process, raised a fantastic £300 for "Wardie's Way".

One of my oldest and bestest mates, Andy Podd (Pictured left with me in the Grande Place, Brussels), raised a fabulous £1.520 cycling from London to Brussels at the start of the summer. What a great effort!!

Emily Stausboll (pictured left) and her Mum Yvonne raised €830 for "Wardie's Way" whilst participating in an open-water swim in the water-ways of Copenhagen at the end of August. Hope the pneumonia is improving! Thanks!!

Thanks to all those who participated in the Euro 2106 Sweepstake. All together we raised €430 for "Wardie's Way" :o)

The lovely Margaret Slattery (pictured left) raised an incredible €1.074 for "Wardie's Way" by 'Nordic Walking' her way around the Brussels 20K course. How impressive is THAT?!?! :o)

She's done it again! At the end of last year our wonderful friend Noirin arranged a second collection at the European School in Woluwe, close to Brussels. The children who participated very generously raised a fantastic €450 for "Wardie's Way".

 

Pictured (right) are some of the wonderful children that contributed receiving a 'Thank You' certificate, as well as the lady who made it all happen; Noirin (or "Mrs Organ" to the kids!!).

In October last year a 'Bake Sale' was organised at St Anthony's Church, Kraainem which raised an incredible €1.000 for "Wardie's Way".
